This 1953 edition (12th) of "Holt Pediatrics" has been rewritten and brought up to date with the aid of 72 collaborating authorities. In this book the high standard of previous editions has been enhanced. The authors have been conservative but have given proper evaluation to the newer methods in bringing this edition up to date. The book is authoritative, very clear, and concise and is an excellent textbook for teachers and students and a valuable reference guide for all practicing physicians. . . .
