Obesity is the number one form of malnutrition in contemporary America. In this book, Dr. Pollack describes in a clear and simple manner what is needed to reduce. The book is intended for laymen. The details of reducing diets are set forth with admirable clarity, and it should help physicians help patients. The unfortunate thing is many who should read it will not read it, many who read it will not follow it, some who follow it for a time will relapse, but for a select few it may help point the way to successful weight loss and then holding the line.
