This is the first volume of a comprehensive treatise on toxicology and includes the acute toxicity data on lethal doses of solids and liquids on laboratory animals as well as lethal concentration data for gases, vapors, and fumes. The compounds reported include many pure chemical compounds, and there is, as well, a detailed coverage of therapeutic medicinals. There has been an urgent need for this sort of compilation of toxicity data, and this volum should be a welcome addition to biological research laboratories everywhere. . . .
