This volume consists of reprints of abstracts of articles presented in the "Abstracts" section of the Journal of the American Medical Association. The articles are from journals published in 1955. Other than a division into sections on the various systems of the body, the classification is not rigid, although articles on one subject, such as peptic ulcer or rheumatoid arthritis, are grouped together. A vast amount of information is assembled between two covers, and the book should make good browsing for the busy doctor who has not a great deal of time for reading. . . .
